Who We Are:
Work Creation Program is an Adult Day Program/Behavior Management Day Program in Orange County providing services to adults with developmental disabilities. Who are 18 years of age or older, focusing on Vocational Skills, Social Skills, Community Skills, and Behavior intervention services.
Seeking caring and energetic staff to work with adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for staff with or without previous experience and are willing to be trained.
Job Description
A job coach serves a group of 3 or 4 individuals at a time. The main responsibilities of a job coach are to facilitate meaningful activities that reflect the needs of everyone, provide training and support to help them to learn their job tasks as assigned by the employer, document the achievement of each individual and supervise the assigned group.
Skills Desired:
Be able to work closely with adults with disabilities
Must have excellent communications skills
Must have a strong work ethic
Adapt to change
Maintain positive relations with participants, families, worksites, and community members
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a reliable car
Maintain a valid driver's license
Provide ongoing proof of current state required automobile insurance and car registration
Clean driving record with no negative points
Must be able to pass criminal record clearance
Have a high school diploma or an equivalent
Work Schedule:
Full Time
Monday through Friday
8:00 am to 3:30 pm with adjusted hours once a month for training 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Compensation:
Starting $20 per hour
.70 cents mileage reimbursement
$10 per month for electronic device usage
Paid vacation time, Sick Hours and Holidays
Medical, Vision, Dental Benefits, others.
