We are looking for a Ranch Hand to join our trusted team at a private ranch estate in Orange County, near the historic town of San Juan Capistrano. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to property maintenance, playing a crucial role in the daily operations of our ranch. These tasks include lifting and carrying heavy objects, operating power tools, cleaning up debris, removing and installing fencing, irrigation, tiling, weed abatement, planting crops, and other manual labor tasks.
The ideal candidate for this position should have prior experience in a similar role, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working outdoors. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work hard and make a difference in a beautiful ranch setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the care and feeding of ranch dogs
Operate and maintain power equipment, hand tools, and utility vehicles
Keep the grounds, structures, and recreational areas clean and in good condition
Clear brush, perform landscaping, assist with irrigation, fencing, and other property maintenance
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Communicate well by answering phone calls, emails, and texts, and providing updates as needed
Available for weekends and emergencies as needed
Other duties on the ranch be required depending on the season and needs of the owner
Qualifications:
Previous experience working on a ranch or farm
General knowledge of construction and maintenance
Ability to operate farm equipment and machinery safely and effectively
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
