Description We are in search of a Family Law Paralegal to join our team in Riverside, California. This role involves a variety of legal support tasks in relation to family law matters. You will be instrumental in the preparation of legal documents, client communication, and managing court filings.Responsibilities:
Calendaring
Court filings
Document preparation (“nobody will be cleaning it up, the final work product is before it goes out the door is done by them”)
Income expense declarations, preliminary declarations of disclosure, and other family law forms
Discovery – shells, propounding and responding (though they have additional discovery support)
Drafting letters and declarations (strong writing skills are helpful).
Client communication providing case updates
Not much research much – attorneys do that
Billable requirement: No formal requirement, but this paralegal will bill out their time.Perks of Company:

Requirements
Prior family law experience (ideally 3+ years)
Paralegal Certificate
80 WPM ideally (this job is typing intensive) but at least 65 WPM
Ability to commute to Riverside daily
