AWI Management Corporation, a property management company located in Auburn, CA, is seeking an individual to assist in our Finance Department. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, have a positive attitude, and have a strong accounting / finance background, have a working knowledge of standard financial reports, have a high level of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet knowledge; be proficient in Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Timberline or similar GL and Financial reporting programs is beneficial.
Requirements:
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines for a fast paced office.
Strong MS Outlook; Word; Excel and spreadsheet skills; 10 key by touch
Accountability and integrity; friendly, professional demeanor; ability to get along with people; team player
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Determine job priorities to achieve highest efficiency
Valid CA Drivers License
Reliable Transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications:
Strong accounting and finance background is a must
Complete understanding of financial activity on the P&L, GL, and balance sheet including accruals.
Proven ability to verify accuracy of financial reports and research errors, analyze financial data and provide variance analysis to management
Ability to recognize and make accurate journal entries when needed
Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through as directed
Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
