Requirements
Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
Experience reading and comprehending different schematic diagrams
Attention to detail
A minimum of 2-years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferable on heavy equipment.
Electrical Troubleshooting: 2-years minimum
Hydraulics: 2-years minimum

Duties:
The Service Technician/Mechanic is responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the shop or in the field, at high levels of quality.
Recondition and repair equipment and components
Proactive approach to maintenance
Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned
Create requisitions on all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs through the Service Manager
Work in a safe and effective manner
Ensure that all repairs are completed as assigned
Complete and turn in reports as required
Education:
· High School Diploma required
· Must have strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of vehicle systems, components and design characteristics.
· Computer literacy for diagnostics and recalibrations.
· Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT
Communication:
Communicate with customers in a manner reflecting respect and honesty
All communications with co-workers are conducted in a polite and courteous manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
