We are looking for an experienced cook to assist the executive chef in food preparation as well as to keep the kitchen clean and operating at its best. Location is near UCSB campus.
Position will start at beginning of academic year in mid to late September.
Cook approximate hours Mon. 10.30-7.30, Wed. 12.30-7.30, Friday 8.00- 5pm
Requirements:·
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Positive attitude & great communication skills
Works well under pressure and with a sense of urgency
California serve safe certificate.
Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs occasionally and work on your feet for long periods of time.
