USK Manufacturing is a small minority owned business specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, machining and mechanical assembly. We are looking for a positive self-motivated individual that can easily adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment.
The HR/Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Operations and Vice President, overseeing essential human resources and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed.
Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Handle general office tasks, such as answering phones and managing correspondence.
Assist with the preparation of presentations, documents, and spreadsheets as needed.
Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Training, and Skills)
At least 10 years experience in HR.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
