Install and Activations Tech

Job DescriptionA large nationwide fiber vendor is looking for a Remote Network Technician to work 3rd shift for them during a 6 month contract with possible extensions. The team is very busy and just needs assistance catching up on a few big projects as clients are requesting network upgrades and every new circuit must be tested. The main priority of the role is to run RFC2544 tests for recently provisioned Fiber to the Tower circuits. The team would also like this candidate to have a high level understanding on layer 2 from the OSI model. The goal is to remote configure devices to run these tests while putting in new upgrades and new core routers. We are looking to pay $35/hr while on contract for this position.This is working four 10-hour shifts per week from Monday night at 10:00 PM CST through 8:00 AM CST.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
