This role involves building and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS), schools, families, and community employers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists with the training/orientation of Job Coaches
Completes Orientation for the youth population who are referred to complete Work Based Experiences (WBE)
Reviews and assists youth in completing Program Work Experience required forms to be entered into Dayforce payroll system.
Complete all authorizations and submit needed information to BRS and the Billing Department
Train and schedule all Job Coaches
Collect time sheets from Job Coaches and Youth Participants to enter into Payroll system
Write all Reports with input from colleagues and Job Coaches providing the training
Input all Youth Participants into the ETO electronic record database and keep up to date.
Assist youth in achieving their specific objectives; Services must be related to the achievement of these objectives.
Participate in meetings with BRS, schools and other team members as needed to review participation, progress and concerns as needed
Work a flexible schedule to fully support youth during the times they are available and most in need of support.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
Carry out culturally competent strategies
Demonstrate and implement incidental teaching
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Social Work, Human Services, Special Education or related field is preferred. Experience working with persons, especially youth, with economic disadvantage, under – and unemployment, and other barriers.

Valid CT Drivers’ License Valid
CT Registration and Insurance on personal vehicle

M-F 8a-4:30p (30 min lunch)
