JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Supervisor
Department: Valet (Department of 8 staff)
Reports To: Property Manager
General Purpose of Position:
Supervise a small group of employees which involves the coordination of valet functions. Some direct guidance received from manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a scheduled valet program
Coordinate driveway procedures
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating valet employees
Maintain uniform report
Investigate accidents
Implement condominium policies and procedures
Support other supervisors
Assist Management during hurricanes and other emergency situations, including illness and vacations
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
Knowledge of valet concept
Knowledge of basic functions of a condominium
Medium level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, motivate employees and elicit work output.
Oral and written communication skills.
Education and/or Training:
High school graduate or equivalent training, plus additional training such as that acquired in the first two years of college or technical school.
Training in valet concepts or equivalent technical training.
Completion of any recommended training programs.
