Design Your Future at PVHPayroll Assistant - W&DPosition Summary: Responsible for all administrative tasks pertaining to Payroll and HR Office functions.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
Ensures accurate preparation and balancing of weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll.
Daily review of Dimensions/Kronos timecards to ensure accuracy.
Assists associates with problems connected with shortages on paychecks, disability checks and benefits.
Processes and checks all paperwork pertaining to associate transfers, new hires change in job classifications and increases in Workday and Dimensions/Kronos.
Ensures prompt processing of hourly/salaried personnel claims for disability.
Prepares weekly Payroll, LOA and HRIS reports.
Maintains HR files for employee’s personnel files, medical files and training files.
Compiles and reports monthly Union deductions and payments.
Reconciles P-Card purchases and HR petty cash fund.
Processes unemployment claims for voluntary lay off employees.
Provides backup to HR Administrative Assistant and Receptionist as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Processes various payroll adjustments, e.g. shortages, garnishments, vacation pay, etc.
Monitors payroll for accuracy.
Decision Making: Provides company policy guidance in absence of Human Resource Manager.Resourcefulness/Creativity: Required to multi-task and reprioritize as needed to provide timely service to associate population.Environment: Works with PC constantly while handling associate’s questions and answering phone. Fast paced.Qualifications & Experience:Experience: Extensive payroll and administrative experience (5 yr. minimum), HR background is a plus.Education: HS diploma minimum. Administrative Asst. and/or business degree is amajor plus.Skills: Advanced knowledge of Workday, Dimensions/Kronos and MS Office skills.
