Description A Robert Half client is seeking a Regional Property Manager to join their team based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves overseeing the management of their property portfolio, including the coordination of budgets, contract negotiations, and the supervision of local management and leasing teams. This position is 100% on-site. This position requires travel, 2 weeks out of the month for 1-2 days.Responsibilities: Oversee and direct local management and leasing teams to ensure effective operation Coordinate and manage financial aspects, including budgeting and contract negotiation Develop and implement strategies to attract prospective tenants Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants and initiate retention strategies Oversee the maintenance and unit turn process including coordination with the construction team for rehabbed units Manage the online portal to monitor rent collection, maintenance requests, and other key activities Resolve resident relation issues and handle escalated complaints Procure vendor bids to ensure best pricing and service quality Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across all properties Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as directed.Requirements Proven experience in Commercial Property Management. Comprehensive knowledge of Property Accounting and Property Budgets. Familiarity with Property Inspections and Property Insurance procedures. Strong understanding of Property Management and Property Management Accounting. Experience working with a Property Management Company. Proficiency in Real Estate Property Management. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
