Job Summary Work Shift1 - First ShiftAre you the type of person who excels at working cross functionally, enjoys formulating innovative strategies, processes and procedures and a dedication to seeing projects through to completion? In this role you will partner with multiple teams, including engine suppliers, dealers, and corporate team members to deliver programs and projects that heighten the Vermeer customer experience as it relates to engine service. We’re looking for a collaborative leader who has a fervor for enhancing customer satisfaction and can adeptly navigate intricate organizational relationships.What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive program plan for engine service that includes project schedules, risk management, budgets, and resource allocation.
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, identifying market needs and developing solutions to meet customer requirements.
Manage the day-to-day activities of engine service projects, monitoring progress, resolving any issues, and communicating with key stakeholders.
Provide regular status reports and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and suppliers.
Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development of new diesel engine service programs, ensuring alignment with customer and company goals.
Create and implement metrics to track project performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement across programs.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, engineering, or related field with a minimum of seven years' experience in project management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
-Proficiency in engine technology, familiarity with supplier networks and expertise in aftermarket support are highly desirable attributes
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Vermeer machinery, software, and componentry, coupled with proficiency in the fields of service, warranty, engineering, and quality assurance.
Exhibits a thorough comprehension of the principles governing diesel and gas engines
-Demonstrates exceptional competency in project management, characterized by exemplary oral and written communication proficiencies.-Possesses an adept ability to evaluate customer demands and requirements, while capably implementing requisite protocols and procedures, in addition to a willingness to exceed these expectations through displays of exemplary customer service.Travel
Occasional travel is expected of this position.
