Description We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. As a Receptionist, your role will be centered around conducting research, handling information requests, and performing various clerical functions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the boardroom schedule and equipment, and providing administrative support as required.Responsibilities: Greet and direct visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer telephone or console switchboard and provide information as required. Handle incoming and outgoing packages via couriers. Maintain an accurate visitor log and/or call record, and provide security passes/badges as necessary. Perform typing, filing, and other simple clerical functions. Keep information organized and confidential while working independently. Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for various tasks. Maintain boardroom schedule and ensure equipment is always ready for use. Prepare mailers and bind books when necessary. Provide other administrative support as required, including photocopying and binding books. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle Experience with 'About Time' software Proven experience in receptionist duties such as handling switchboard operations, directing visitors, and providing courier services Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent written communication abilities Proficiency in conducting research Experience in handling security protocols Proficiency in typing and other clerical duties such as filing and photocopying Competency in using various computer programs and handling mailers Experience in handling visitors and directing them appropriately Ability to handle switchboard operations efficiently Familiarity with conductivity measurements would be a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
