Renjeau Galleries is looking for a personable, reliable, creative & energetic full-time gallery assistant/sales associate with an interest in art & interior design to be an integral part of our operation. This is a multi-faceted job that requires excellent interpersonal, writing, and computer skills, as well as attention to detail. In addition, a moderate amount of physical activity is required, including the ability to handle large artwork up to 20 lbs while assisting with hanging or showing artwork to clients.
Opportunities:
You will have the opportunity to work & consult with clients both as part of a team and one-on-one. You will also be relied upon to learn & assist with multiple administrative and business roles. This is a salaried position that requires approximately 35-40 hours per week.
Daily Responsibilities will include:
Working as a team to consult with customers in a retail environment who are looking to find art and custom framing for their homes.
Photographing and preparing artwork for display on website.
General customer service including answering phone calls, follow-up emails, handling pick-ups and other customer service interactions.
Website Maintenance (Wordpress & WooCommerce knowledge is helpful)
Inventory Management (attention to detail)
Use of CRM to maintain customer relationships.
Assisting with gallery marketing material, installations and shows.
A solid working knowledge of Photoshop or similar software is extremely helpful.
