Shipping/Receiving & Materials Handler up to $22 per hour plus full benefits

very family-oriented and friendly work environment. This position is a hybrid position

combining Shipping and receiving responsibilities as well as, production and materials

handling.

This position is responsible for the safe and quality manufacturing of polyurethane

polymers and adhesives for industrial use, including receiving, storing, and distributing

raw materials and finished goods to the manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Other responsibilities will include batch mixing, equipment operations, and

packaging/labeling of the end product.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Batch mixing of chemicals in the production of polyurethane polymers and adhesives by utilizing standard operating

procedures

Performing packaging functions of various products and containers utilizing scales and pump equipment as well as

labeling

Must have sufficient dexterity and strength to operate process equipment such as valves, pumps, switches, etc.

Must be able to read and understand process batch sheets containing product process directions and safety

precautions

Must be able to write legibly and record results accurately

Required to stand up to 90% of the working day with frequent walking, intermittent stopping, and bending while

operating equipment, drumming, etc.

Must be able to tolerate periodic hot, inside working conditions or cold outside conditions

Equipment operations, including forklift, drum tool, hand tool, hoist, pump, and scale operations

Off-load bulk tankers

Receive, ship, store, and distribute raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

Safely stack drums in their designated area within the warehouse and manufacturing locations

Coordinate and prioritize several tasks at one time

Must be able to calculate various measurements using basic math skills

Maintain a clean work environment following 5S principals

Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour shifts. Weekend and other overtime work may be required as necessary

Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hats and respirator

Physical demands may include climbing stairs, repetitive movements, handling and moving 55-gallon drums, lifting

of 60 pounds, wearing a respirator, working in hot or cold environments; hearing protection may be required for

certain tasks

Work safely when performing job responsibilities

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs

Must be able to read and understand customer orders, bill of ladings, and packing slips

Must be able to write legibly and record results accurately

Job Qualifications:

1. Good math and communication skills

2. Ability to read and write English

3. Must be able to lift and stack 50-60 lbs

4. Forklift driving experience required

5. High school diploma or equivalent

6. Chemical material handling experience preferred

7. Successful completion of OSHA physical examination

8. Strong attention to detail

9. Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn

10. Valid Driver’s License
