This management position is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and day-to-day operation of a state-operated mental health hospital/center. Work is performed under executive direction and within general policies and procedures of the Department of Health and Human Services. Responsibilities require employee to exercise extensive independent judgment in developing and implementing approaches to clinical and administrative program administration. The employee is required to plan and direct all aspects of the operation in conformance with general guidelines, clinical standards, policies and law, within the funding authorization provided.
