Michigan, Grand rapids, 49501 Grand rapids USA
Aplica ya

About Me:

A few years ago, I left the grind of the large law firm setting to focus on meaningful projects and collaborate with clients I genuinely enjoy working with. My guiding principle is straightforward: to collaborate on inspiring projects with exceptional people. My legal practice and businesses focus on highly regulated industries—primarily plant medicine and fungi—allowing me to align my professional work with my personal passions.

Seeking: Part-Time Personal / Professional Executive Assistant

An extremely busy solo attorney and business owner is seeking a part-time (10-20 hrs/week) Executive Assistant for immediate hire. The role spans personal and professional responsibilities, supporting both legal practice and business operations within plant medicine and fungi industries.

Ideal Candidate:

Flexible availability: Able to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings and errands.

Self-starter: Open to learning and taking initiative on tasks as they arise.

Experienced EA: Prior experience as an executive assistant is a plus but not required if you are proactive, reliable, and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other professional software.

Conduct research, draft, review, and edit documents as needed.

Manage document systems, paper files, and legal billing systems.

Oversee email inbox management and calendar scheduling.

Support with personal tasks and travel arrangements, including running occasional errands.

Interest in plant medicine: A passion for or openness to plant medicine is highly valued, as it aligns with the core of my work and business operations.

Additional Skills and Requirements:

High discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.

A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.

Comfort managing varied tasks and to-do lists that change from week to week.

Prior law firm experience or familiarity with legal operations is a bonus.

What’s in it for You?

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an exciting and evolving area of law while also becoming an integral part of business operations in a fascinating industry. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy contributing to interesting, meaningful projects, this could be a great fit.
