Job DescriptionAbout DTMB:The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) (https://youtu.be/HIrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. About the position: This position is a first-line Supervisor with responsibility for directing and coordinating activities of skilled journeymen Steeplejacks in Tower & Site Services located in the Upper Peninsula Region covering approximately 16,400 square miles. The team and the Supervisor install, repair, and provides maintenance of approximately 70 towers, tower sites, and equipment located at communications sites in the Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) throughout the entire geographic region of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.This position ensures proper installation for new site equipment, verification of asset management records and inventory for site equipment.
