Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Electronics and Electrical Technical Designer to join Vehicle Management System (VMS) Labs team in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.Position Responsibilities Include:

Lead, develop, maintain and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers

Manage, interpret and develop design requirements

Use design tools to document and maintain configuration design control

Manage, create, develop and maintain complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements

Validate complex engineering system design and functionality

Lead the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex

Coordinate activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers

Review and assign work to others. Works under minimal direction

Order parts, kitting, and parts management (i.e. calibration cycles)

Create work orders for test asset fabrication; manage throughout fabrication/build process

Test asset integration and electrical checkout

Implement safety and quality standards

Reliability and maintainability activities of current and legacy products

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate’s level degree in a relevant technical field, including Systems, Electrical/Electronic and Computer technologies

5+ years of experience in a lab or technical shop setting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
