Since 1996, LRS Web Solutions has been the leading web development group in Central Illinois. We empower businesses to enhance their online presence through comprehensive website planning and development, professional graphic design, custom programming, dedicated hosting facilities, and ongoing website maintenance. Our talented team of web developers and graphic designers collaborates closely with clients to integrate a robust web presence into their business strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with our team to develop top-tier websites and software for both LRS and our clients. You will work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, XML, SQL Server, and other emerging technologies to build templates, integrate customer content, and style website elements to enhance site designs. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of our CMS product and modules and assist with the development of the LRS Corporate websites. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of our headquarters in Springfield, Illinois. Your compensation will consist of a base salary plus paid overtime. Core Responsibilities:
Build Websites: Create flawless, complex websites that are fast-loading, easy to navigate, cross-browser compatible, aesthetically pleasing, and meet our clients’ needs. Ensure sites are responsive, usable on any device, and follow accessibility guidelines.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and complaints in a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable manner. Maintain excellent communication with clients and team members, discuss goals, anticipate future needs, and make appropriate suggestions.
Work Collaboratively: Actively participate in team, project, and estimating meetings. Coordinate work with others, deliver work on time, complete and without errors. Share information proactively to help the entire group work effectively and produce excellent products.
Performance Factors:
To be successful, you must possess the ability to quickly learn about LRS Web Solutions’ processes, services, and products. Proficiency with our Content Management System, LRS Antilles, including creating themes, modules, and customizing current code, is essential. You should be willing and able to work within a team of creative and technical individuals to produce outstanding solutions for our customers. Creativity, flexibility, patience, and attention to detail are crucial to deliver excellence on every project. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills are also required. Lastly, a desire to stay current on web development trends to anticipate and meet client needs and requests is highly valued.
Applicant Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building custom websites.
Experience building responsive website templates.
Knowledge of current accessibility practices, including familiarity with WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer (no visa sponsorships available).
The following experience and skills will make you a stronger candidate:
Full stack development experience with HTML and CSS skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
Experience with Entity Framework, WEB API (.NET Core), Blazor/Razor pages, Azure DevOps, and working with Azure pipelines.
Knowledge of dependency injection and previous experience working with Microsoft technologies.
Organization Structure and Interfaces:
The LRS Web Solutions group consists of Account Representatives, Graphic Designers, Front End Web Developers, Web Application Developers, Project Managers, Network Consultants, a User Experience Specialist, an Administrative Assistant, and a Manager. The team is based in Springfield, Illinois but serves clients nationwide. You will work with project teams to build and maintain websites and report to the Manager of Development, Sales, and Hosting.
Salary range:$70,000-$90,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. The salary will vary depending on factors including experience and performance.
