Merchandise Planner - Underwear and Socks

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandise Planner to join our Underwear and Socks division. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in aligning merchandise plans with business objectives, ensuring optimal stock levels, and driving category performance. With strong financial acumen, assortment building skills and a real commercial mindset, you'll work collaboratively to drive optimisation and manage the product lifecycle process, whilst being consistently on top of trends and performance.Key responsibilities include:Working with the Buyers on a range of assortment plans, controlling markdowns and category spendSetting budgets and reviewing forward plansAnalysing product performance trends and making recommendations for improvementImproving stock-flow & product lifecycle management maximising our Stock ROIDemand planning/forecasting – includes impacts of promotional activityInterpreting data into a clear narrative & actionable outcomes – story tellingCommunicating data and strategy to key stakeholder
