Human Resources Generalist

Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Syracuse client of his that has a newly created HR Generalist role. Reporting into the Director of HR, this newly created role will have a lot of growth to it. This organization has awesome work life balance and really good benefits. It's a low turnover organization and significantly growing. They're looking for someone who has generalist experience that wants to keep growing. Responsibilities will include involvement with Coordinate recruitment activities such as job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding. Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide advice on HR policies and procedures. Mediate and resolve employee issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Involvement in employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries. Help update and maintain company policies and the employee handbook. Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies. Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on best practices. Assist in conducting investigations related to employee grievances or complaints when required.
