About Us:
AMS/Veon is a family and veteran-owned small business dedicated to installing, selling, and repairing a variety of mobility devices such as ramps, lifts, wheelchairs, and home/vehicle modifications.
Responsibilities:
Assist in installing and repairing mobility devices.
Troubleshoot issues using mechanical observation and precision tools.
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment (drill press, welder, etc.).
Maintain inventory and place orders for equipment, parts, and supplies.
Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and various hand/power tools.
Inspect parts and adjust functional components.
Prepare maintenance reports and document work team actions and needs.
Qualifications:
Training provided for candidates with construction, mechanical, or electrical backgrounds.
Experience with electrical blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings is a plus.
Skills in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Proven experience in construction and operating equipment like drills and pneumatic hammers.
Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction materials.
Basic engineering and construction principles.
Ability to work well in a team, read instructions and blueprints.
Good English skills (spoken and written).
Excellent balance and coordination.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20 to $25 per hour

Schedule:
Standard Monday to Friday with occasional overnight shifts.
