Our Morganton, NC location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.
Operates assembly stations as directed and perform assembly according to operator instructions and critical visual inspection requirements.
Loads / unloads units.
Operates specific mechanical tools for both part assembly and tear down.
Stages “work in process” in assigned location.
Operates Scan & Pack work stations including perform product changeovers and follow packing work instructions.
Operates Safe Launch packing station.
Assures cleanliness of parts and work area. Cleans station at scheduled PM and as needed.
Understands the impact of scrap and rework costs and supports cost reduction activities.
Minimum requirements:
Intermediate computer skills (Windows, hand held scanners, etc.);
Ability to work cooperatively with team members;
Demonstrated ability to multitask;
Demonstrated ability to support a fast paced environment with heavy lifting;
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
