This role involves developing and executing culinary strategies, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.Responsiblities:
Culinary Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the culinary team, setting high standards for culinary excellence and inspiring team members to reach their full potential. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the culinary team.
Culinary Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive culinary strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging techniques, and consumer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of talented chefs, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent culinary excellence. Empower team members to take ownership of their work and encourage their professional growth.
Menu Innovation: Lead the development of innovative menus that exceed customer expectations, align with brand standards, and drive customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create menus that are on-trend, unique, and elevate the culinary experience.
Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain culinary standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all culinary operations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and brand guidelines.
Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to select and manage vendors and suppliers that meet quality standards and support the culinary vision. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and products.
Culinary Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the culinary team. Stay updated with industry best practices and provide ongoing training to ensure the team is equipped with the latest culinary techniques and trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align culinary strategies with overall business objectives. Provide culinary expertise and support for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer presentations.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the culinary budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources while maintaining high-quality standards. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize culinary operations.
Sales Leadership Team: Act as a key member of the sales leadership team, providing culinary expertise and insights to support sales strategies and initiatives. Collaborate with sales leaders to identify opportunities for culinary innovation that align with customer needs and drive revenue growth. Provide guidance and support in developing culinary-focused sales presentations and proposals to enhance customer engagement and drive business success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, Food Science, or a related field. A culinary certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Culinary Team Leader or similar role in a corporate setting.
Strong culinary expertise and knowledge of current food trends, techniques, and ingredients.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a culinary team.
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management principles.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Ability to travel as required.
