PK Pastures is hiring for a part-time (12 hrs/wk) Farmhand to assist with many aspects of our pastured livestock operation- principally daily chores, with paddock rotation, moving electric fencing, and other duties as needed. We're a small-scale, certified organic and animal-welfare-approved farm. We raise organic pork, poultry, and lamb. This position will be a critical member of our team who will often work independently.
$18/hr.
On-farm housing valued at $500/mo with personal garden and shop space is available.
Work/life balance is important, and we aim to make this position sustainable for someone who has another job or project. We’re also happy to help connect applicants with opportunities on other organic farms in the area if folks are looking for more hours.
