This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on a global scale and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As the Contracts Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) within Thermo Fisher Scientific.Responsibilities:

Review, negotiate, and administer commercial and government-related contracts on behalf of assigned CAD business units in accordance with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.

Support the development and submission of RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.

Collaborate with internal departments to review and assemble final contract packages for customers, suppliers, and projects.

Assess contractual risk and provide contract guidance to cross-functional team members on legal, financial, regulatory, and other business concerns.

Administer commercial, federal and state-level contract schedules, including without limitation, price updates, audits, reports, and payments.

Drive process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiencies and standardization such as establishing templates, standardizing playbooks, process updates, etc.

Act as a liaison between the business units and customer or government contracting officer(s), as applicable.

Maintain accurate records within the contracts team's central repository and contract support center.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.

Minimum 5+ years of government or commercial contracts experience, including contract negotiations, contract closeout, and pre and post RFP activities.

Working knowledge of federal and state contracting processes.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate strong relationships, internally and externally at all levels of leadership, external customers and government officials, as applicable.

Strong analytical and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage constantly evolving priorities.

Highly attentive individual with a customer-centric approach, sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity and a keen eye for detail.

Advanced MS Office or Office 365 skills. Salesforce experience is a plus.
