Art Director

We have an exciting opportunity for an Art Director to join our team for a 12-month paternity leave cover. The Art Director is responsible for leading, creating and executing the visual design and creative direction of visually stunning designs that effectively answer the brief and communicate each brand's message to its target audience. This position requires a high level of creativity, people management, time management as well as an understanding of the latest design trends and techniques. The Art Director will work closely with the Group Creative Director, designers, Project Managers, and other departments to ensure that all visual elements align with each company’s brand and messaging.Day to day you will:Develop, maintain, and execute design concepts for a wide range of brands and mediums, including print and digital advertising, websites, social media, and brandingCreate design layouts, illustrations, and graphics that are visually appealing and in line with the company's overall aestheticGenerating clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the copywriterStay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to ensure designs are fresh and relevantEnsure that all designs meet the company's brand guidelinesApply typography techniquesManage and mentor designers Forge strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, with the capability to influence and mediate to reach an optimum outcome for all partiesNote: This department is not directly responsible or involved with creating the shows that are famously seen on the Nine network.
