The results speak for themselves: landmark decisions and sound business solutions.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our Civil Defense Property and Casualty team. The ideal candidate must hold a Tennessee law license and has at least 2 years of relevant legal experience.Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide variety of civil defense property and casualty legal matters.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and briefs.
Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
Attend court hearings, preparing coverage opinions and litigation documents accordingly.
Effectively manage and run site inspections when needed.
Navigate case management and adhere to timeline responses on all positions and discovery requests.
Consult with clients, advising on their legal rights and responsibilities.
Collaborate effectively with legal colleagues and team members.
Billing requirement 1950 hours per year.
Minimum Qualifications:
JD degree from an accredited law school.
2+ years of experience in Civil Defense Property & Casualty law.
Active Tennessee law licWense in good standing.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
