Ensure that assigned tasked are performed in accordance with World Class Manufacturing standards, procedures, and guidelines. To make sure the production schedules is met, and products are produced to satisfy customer requirements and specifications. Works with all support groups accordingly.Your ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates equipment assigned per standard work instructions (at the rate) and completes related paperwork accurately.Responsible for the Quality of parts produced and reports any non-conforming parts to Quality and leadership immediately. Understand and keeps up with changes of Quality specifications, instructions, and inspection instructions.Performs temporary additional quality inspections (e.g., for Quality Gates after customer complaints) as required.Completes safety inspection of equipment as required, verify the correct function of the equipment, and reports any machine problems to leadership immediately.Completes any documentation necessary for the operation of the equipment, including Quality, safety, and product identification.Performs TPM as required, thoroughly and meticulously.Performs MP&L duties such as labeling, following packing instructions, scanning.Supports Production Reconciliation.Attend daily pre-shift meetings and carry out assigned workload as directed by shift/area leaders.Must be willing to make decisions, understand quality issues, pay attention to details to ensure products are produced correctly.Recommend proposals for improving products, processes, systems, productivity, and work environment (Continuous Improvement Process).Maintains a good working relationship with his/her fellow employees and keeps his/her supervisor advised of conditions within the work area.Complete scheduled work and tasks within time allotted or notify leadership when unable to do so.Input data into various systems if necessary.Performs other duties as assigned.Who we are looking forYour preferred qualificationsEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to maintain concentration and operational efficiency despite shop floor environment.Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and endurance.Must be vigilant and adhere to strict safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with operating heavy machinery and working in close proximity to various equipment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:General factory environment with occasional expectations of the employee functional job description.Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment to meet customer requirements.Some of the physical demands of this position include:sitting for prolonged periods of timewalking up and down staircasesoccasional liftingoccasional stooping and bendingMay be required to stand in excess of 6 hours.May be required to lift, push and/or pull 60 pounds.Average mobility to move around a manufacturing environment.Able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.Able to be flexible in hours of work on short notice in order to meet internal/external customer requirements (scheduled and non-scheduled overtime shifts, etc.)Possible shift workEDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIANCE:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-year experience with a similar position within a manufacturing environment preferred.Operate standard office equipment preferred.What we offerCompetitive hourly wage, Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability, 401k with company match and Paid vacation/holidays.Site BenefitsAwareness.
