Silk Screen Operators are responsible for overseeing the silk screen printing process. This includes interpreting engineering specifications/drawings (blueprints) to determine job requirements, designing screen print patterns, preparing stencils, creating screens, mixing inks according to specifications, setting up and operating press, perform and documenting inspections, entering run times in Shop Floor Manager, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

Maintain and promote safe working habits and clean work area (6S-Lean Manufacturing).
Coordinate with Lead or Department Supervisor to ensure work scopes are accurately defined.
Check equipment for proper operation, safety and or needed maintenance.
Fit and fasten sheet metal coverings to surface areas or other sections.
Cut industrial materials in preparation for fabrication or processing.
Align parts or work pieces to ensure proper assembly.
Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
Inspect and clean work pieces or finished products.
Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:
High School Diploma or Grade Equivalency Diploma
Able to perform physical requirements.
Great attitude and willingness to learn.
