Kirby Self Storage is looking for a professional Property Manager. Employee will generally split time between an indoor office environment and completing outside work tasks.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the facility
2. Greet customers/ answer phones in a profession manner
3. Show, rent and clean units- perform unit inspections
4. Perform market surveys as requested by the corporate office
5. Monitor security system and resolve security problems; perform lock checks on a daily basis
6. Communicate facility issues with corporate office in a timely manner
7. Clean office and restroom; stock with supplies as needed
8. Prep units that come up for Auction
9. Add and remove overlocks for delinquent tenants
10. Ensure property maintains professional curb appeal
11. Oversee contractor activities (landscapers, pest control, etc.)
12. Complete task lists provided by corporate office
13. Regularly checks physical condition of facility; performs minor maintenance, repairs and cleaning as needed.
14. Maintain petty cash, make bank deposits and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by management
15. Processing payments in person or over the phone
16. Processing move ins/move outs and helping customers determine correct unit size
Job Requirements:
Good organizational skills. Basic computer operation including using self storage software applications. Understanding of automated gate system. Ability to meet physical demands of the job (heavy lifting, bending, pushing, climbing ladders, etc.). Must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check.
General Facility Hours:
Monday through Friday: 9am-5pm
Office closed on weekends
