Job Summary:Summer Patrol is responsible for performing guest service functions such as accident handling, administering first aid, promoting and creating a safe environment for guests and employees, and participating in summer project work.Job Specifications :
Expected Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.50 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability - Part Time
Skill Level: Entry
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting injured guests on the mountain and administering first aid
Transporting injured guests off the mountain using a truck, UTV, Gondola, or other support vehicles Participating in accident investigations as needed
Maintaining emergency supplies
Providing assistance at lift stations
Educating guests about summer operations and terrain
Participating in summer projects, such as toboggan repair, gear checks, terrain maintenance, etc.
Job Requirements:
High School or Equivalent
Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written)
Basic knowledge of computers
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have excellent guest service skills
Must work well in a team
Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment
Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions Must be available to work holidays and weekends
Previous patrol or experience at a Vail Resorts® mountain resort preferred
Must have valid drivers’ license
Must have EMT Certification
The expected pay range is $21.00 - $23.50. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
