This position is required to perform the following duties for the Church
Answer phone calls and provide messages for staff, monitor voice mails and distribute messages.
Maintain church records for all contracts and billing.
Revise Sunday bulletin template weekly; print hard copies for church distribution and post to church website.
Manage office supplies and offering envelopes as needed.
Create monthly newsletters from articles provided by staff and team chairs and distribute to church members via email.
Maintain a church calendar listing all events and activities.
Update prayer lists weekly and post prayer requests as received.
Maintain updated church membership directory and provide copies as requested.
Prepare quarterly business meeting packets and a numbered signup sheet.
Contact the building maintenance chairperson for repairs or equipment problems.
Secure offerings from mail and give to church tellers.
Track memorial donation information provided by tellers and send acknowledgements to donor and recipient.
Prepare account payable invoices send to CPA for payment. (CPA sends back checks to be printed and matched up with invoice for signatures).
Perform ad-hoc secretarial duties which may arise from time to time.
Minimum Requirement
High School Education
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Able to represent the church in a polished professional manner.
Have good people skills
Hours
Monday - Thursday, 9AM - 2PM, total 20 Hours per week
