Job Summary:
The Program Director (PD) at Gracie Barra Marysville is an integral part of gym operations, serving as the point of contact of the organization for members while they are at the gym. It is crucial for the PD to be a friendly face and take an active interest in the positive experience of every member. The PD is responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks, ensuring smooth gym operations, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the facility. The PD is pivotal in ensuring that new members are seamlessly integrated into our programs and are also tasked with keeping current members satisfied and engaged. Roles and Responsibilities:
Opening/Closing Duties:
Be on-site early to open facility
Ensure the sign-in kiosk is functional - logged in and connected to wifi
Maintain safety standards
Shut down / put away equipment, close & lock gym before leaving
Sales & Marketing Duties:
Set up intros for trials and manage associated tasks like paperwork, uniform fitting, etiquette education, and profile creation
Communicate membership perks and selling points
Follow up with potential members, walk-ins & membership inquiries (online, phone calls or in person)
Handle the signing up of new members
Take pictures of class – contribute to social media content creation
Participate in some community outreach & events
Discuss cancellation options & alternatives with members who inquire
Member Customer Service / Experience Duties
Track member attendance to classes
Manage merchandise inventory & orders
File hold/cancellation requests
Track members' gear needs
Track needs & escalations with management
