Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer

Pay: Hourly Top Pay, DOE

Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to assist our project manager. Candidate must have 5+ years of experience of electrical construction management. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills to manage and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion. We offer medical, dental & vision benefits, and a 401k plan. Wage DOE. Must posses current I-9 ID, able to drive company vehicles. Must provide clean driving record and verifiable references.

 Project Management: Oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time,

within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 Contract Organization and Understanding: Interpret and manage contracts, ensuring

all terms and conditions are met.

 Submittals: Prepare, review, and process submittals in a timely manner.

 Change Orders: Evaluate and process change orders, maintaining accurate records.

 Adjusting Prints: Make necessary adjustments to electrical plans and prints as required.

 Closeout Documents: Prepare and compile all necessary documents for project closeout.

 Permit Purchases: Acquire all necessary permits for electrical projects.

 Inspection Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all required inspections.

 Meetings: Attend and actively participate in project meetings with clients, contractors,

and other stakeholders.

 Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and report on

financial status.

 Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and

specifications.

 Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working

environment.

 Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any

issues or concerns promptly.

 Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized project documentation.

 Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team

members to ensure project success.
