Job Description
Sing Core is seeking a skilled Millwright to maintain and repair our various door-making machines, including saws, forklifts, presses, and other essential equipment. This is a critical role that ensures our production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on machinery such as saws, hydraulic presses, forklifts, and other production equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, welding, and machining equipment.
Install and align new machinery as needed to support our manufacturing operations.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment longevity.
Collaborate with the production team to identify and address mechanical issues promptly.
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to carry out precise repairs and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during maintenance activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical or vocational training in Millwrighting or mechanical repair (preferred).
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including saws, hydraulic systems, and forklifts.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and machining techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and work in various industrial environments.
Preferred Skills
Certification in Millwrighting or related mechanical trade.
Experience in a manufacturing or custom fabrication environment.
