Job Summary This Company specializes in Physical Security, Information Security, and related IT Services. their team ensures that they meet all regulatory compliance and mission ready requirements to protect critical infrastructure assets. Accounting SupervisorRoles and Responsibilities: Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization Responsible for supervising and evaluating the performance of personnel in the Accounting Department Maintains the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets Coordinate all audit activity Manages the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzes and reports variances Responsible for tax compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership abreast of company's financial status Assist company in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate Prepares Ad Hoc reports as needed Requirements: 4 years of total experience in Accounting Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficient knowledge of government laws and regulations Expert understanding of accounting, regulatory and compliance Analytical skills; effective leadership, project management and teamwork skills The ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment Detail and process oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations Proficient knowledge of PC applications (MS Office Suite); Advanced proficiency in Excel Able to read, write and speak English To Apply, Send Resume to: jugrajeda@aerotek.com About AerotekOur people are everything.
