For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication organization is seeking Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to support our Integrated Metals, Emergent Operations team based in Auburn, Washington.Position Overview:In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to MBU leaders, project leaders, assist with strategic goals and objectives, also may support work statement management, and overall project management.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the above listed location.This is not a union represented position.Position Responsibilities:Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry.

Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational goals and objectives.

Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.

Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.

Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate leadership.

Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.

Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.

Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate.

Work Authorization:This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.

5+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders.

3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.

Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.

Experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion.

3+ years of experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

3+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting.

Integrated scheduling experience

Experience with the Boeing Capital Process.

Experience managing overhead and capital budgets.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment, on airplane programs or supporting the production system.

Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.

Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
