If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.Job Description:This role will assist Site Quality Manager and Quality Inspectors with daily activities with the purpose of gaining knowledge and exposure to different welding and non-destructive examination processes. Ability to demonstrate proficiency of welding skill for multiple welding processes (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Flux Core Arc Welding) Working knowledge of welding equipment and filler materials Working knowledge of codes, standards, specifications, American Welding Society and American Society of Mechanical Engineers codes (AWS D1.1, ASME Sec. IX, B31.3) Assist with welding supervision and welder performance testing Ability to interpret drawings (Isometrics, Piping &Instrument Diagrams) Familiar with multiple Non-Destructive Examination methods (Radiographic Testing, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic particle Testing, Ultrasonic Testing) Knowledge of Post Weld Heat Treatment methods Assist with weld data management Participate in daily job safety meetings Assist with inspection request Organizing project documentationJob ID: 149138BRCity: Bay MinetteState: AlabamaCountry: United StatesWe are an equal opportunity employer.
