As a Line Cook, you will:
Prepare cook to order food for the hotel restaurant
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served
Work under pressure at times preparing meals for several tickets
Follow all standard operating procedures and food safety procedures
Serve customers in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
Work with restaurant servers to ensure food is delivered fresh and timely
To be successful in this position, you must have basic knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and vendors. This position requires continuous movement, pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school education or equivalent is preferred.
