Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Entry Clerk who will be tasked with input of paper-based information into our digital systems. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.
We expect you to be computer-savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Good understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
Salary range: $38000 - $48000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database
Ensuring data is backed up.
Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
Organize existing data in a spreadsheet
Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records
Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information from employees, other departments and clients.
Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
Update various data including financial transactions, customer information, inventory, status of items or other information
Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
Creating accurate spreadsheets.
Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Must be proficient working in a Windows environment
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
