- Provides support, maintains and enhances existing business applications (coding, testing, debugging).
- Develops, documents and executes unit test cases.
- Identifies and resolves technical problems and issues with software and work processes; escalates problems beyond level of expertise to manager or more experienced technical staff.
- Recommends improvements to existing processes or proposes new ones, to improve the quality of project deliverables
- Performs duties within standardized practices, where applicable.
- Delivers quality and timely results.
- Maintains a good application domain knowledge and assumes accountability to fulfill assigned areas of responsibility.

- Bachelor's degree in an information technology related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience. In cases of a 4-year degree in an information technology related discipline, no previous experience is required. Otherwise, 2+ years of experience in a specified technical discipline.
- Displayed proficiency with one or more programming languages such as C, Java, TypeScript, .Net and SQL. Knowledge of asynchronous programming using JMS and/or AMQP is a plus.
- DevOps experience with Tomcat, Jenkins and AWS is a plus.
- Proficient in at least one programming language and good working knowledge of applicable hardware and operating systems.
- Ability to code, test and debug simple and moderately complex business applications (with guidance).
- Understanding of the system development life cycle.
- Possesses good analytical skills and able to review work for accuracy and completeness.
- Able to work under direction, independently and in a team setting.
- Able to work effectively with customers and IT leadership.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to organize information and communicate clearly and concisely.
