Work you'll do

The US Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) oversees the strategy and governance of information security, risk management and information security operations for the entire Deloitte US firm, which is comprised of four Firm Specific Subsidiaries (FSS); Audit, Tax, Consulting, and Risk & Financial Advisory; as well as the Enabling Areas (EA), which includes Government & Public Services (GPS), a US$5 Billion business line.

As the Sr. Manager, BISO, you will lead Cloud Security and Application Security for GPS interacting with teams across the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Ensure security controls and compliance for cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Proactively work with colleagues across the organization to evangelize cyber security requirements for cloud and vulnerability management.
  • Oversee and bring to life security objectives of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • Protect critical assets and align and prioritize our cyber security investments.
  • Develop plans to enforce established cyber security standards, minimize vulnerabilities, and strengthen the business information technology posture.
  • Develop cyber security metrics to report exact status and drive remediation plans.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is an integrator of people and processes, a thought leader, a problem solver, and knowledgeable about cybersecurity.
  • Must be
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • 10+ years of related experience, including cybersecurity and/or risk management experience in organizations of a similar scale or client-service experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience driving security and compliance for cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change in area of cyber security for application development lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of OWASP, application security, and remediation processes.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across IT infrastructure with security frameworks and standards such as FedRAMP, ISO 17799/27001, NIST53, NIST171, Cloud Control Matrix (CCM) and other relevant security-related regulations.
  • Understanding of and ability to effectively apply trends and developments in the area of global security and risk management.
  • Ability to frame and communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels.
  • Be able to deliver in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or equivalent experience.
