Description SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Test Engineer to support the test planning and execution assignments on complex and advanced Air and Missile Defense systems for the US Army as part of the Test Execution Team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL. Job Description:
  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting test activities of an Army Command and Control System as it integrates with foreign components.
  • Testing venues could include SIL, HWIL, Distributed Ground Testing, and Field Testing with a team consisting of personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs.
  • Candidate will provide execution insight and information to support resolution of test incident reports and data analysis and reporting processes.
Qualifications

Required Education:
  • BS and 9+ years of experience in Tactical Systems test environments.

Required Skills:
  • Understand the nuances of different foreign systems and be able to advise on test planning and requirements to meet the goals of each unique system or component.
  • Experience in all phases of testing, to include generation of pre-test documentation and test plans, test requirements, test procedures, test case matrices, and post-test reports and presentations of test results through TIMs and Management Reviews.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, and possess good communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to work in a high paced team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs including external agency stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule during periods of test execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to various DoD test ranges to support various test operations and missions, as well as potential OCONUS travel to host FMS nations.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Army Air Defense Systems such as Patriot, LTAMDS, and IBCS

Required Clearance:
  • Must have an active Inerim Security DOD Clearance; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret.
