Record Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL. While some remote work may be allowed, candidates must be located within commutable distance of Huntsville, Alabama.

Essential Job Functions:
  • The Manager/Administrator will provide technical assistance and expertise to numerous records archives and organize them into an efficient, user-friendly system.
  • Serve as records manager to prioritize and provide support and reform across different silos of information management structures and procedures.
  • Adhere to new developments in AR-25-400-2 Army Records Information Management System regulation and ARIMS system as well as maintain currency with National Archives and Records Administration Training offerings.
  • Monitor Army365 Electronic Records Management developments to ensure smooth transition for DEVCOM AvMC.
  • Coordinate transitional management and proactively innovate new solutions for problems that may arise.
  • Using teamwork and technical skills, foster change towards a new structured program.
  • Implement and improve SOP's and best practices across a variety of file storage systems while updating documentation and polices.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and hands-on training with records coordinators.
  • Support DEVCOM AvMC Publications Control Officer / Forms Management Officer to manage publications by solving day-to-day problems and providing technical support.
  • Post DEVCOM AvMC Staff shared documents and assign record numbers.
  • Create, update, and modify forms using Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer.
  • Manage DEVCOM AvMC Knowledge Center Records Management SharePoint site.
  • Manage all Records Management tasks.
  • Perform site visits for proper records management practices, as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Must have active secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field desired.
  • 5 years in Records Management or related field.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer.
  • SharePoint 2013 through SharePoint Online
