Work you'll do

A unique opportunity to be a part of Deloitte Application Studios which is an integral part of the Information Technology Services group. The principle focus of this organization is the development and maintenance of technology solutions that enable the delivery of Function and Marketplace Services and Management Information Systems.

DAS develops and maintains solutions built on varied technologies like SAP, Microsoft, etc. DAS has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions to the clients by following a streamlined system development methodology. DAS comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development and Quality Assurance and Performance.

You will be part of the Development group and will be responsible for delivering technical solutions.

Development and Support:

  • Develop, support, and maintain applications and technology solutions.
  • Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards.
  • Become familiar with all development tools, testing tools, methodologies and processes.
  • Become familiar with the project management methodology and processes.
  • Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
  • Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
  • Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
  • Assist the Technical Lead with project team duties as required.
  • Work under the direction of the Application Manager.
  • Will assist in the development of both on premise and cloud driven hosting models leveraging private & hybrid clouds, evaluation, and the implementation of IaaS and PaaS solutions to help deliver infrastructure at the pace of development needs
  • Assist in the adoption of DevOps delivery models
  • Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.
  • Develop supporting and other materials, as required.
  • Develop and maintain internal project documentation.

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and applications development team responsible for delivering leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. Their broad portfolio includes web and mobile productivity tools that empower our people to log expenses, enter timesheets, book travel and more, anywhere, anytime. DAS enables our client service professionals through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics, and innovative custom development.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within various skills: .Net Platform, ASP .NET MVC, strong in C#, OOPS Concepts, WCF, REST API Ajax, HTML, HTML 5, CSS, Jquery, JavaScript, SQL, Automated Unit Testing, Applying Design Patterns, Performance Tuning (C# and SQL), Agile, SQL Server, Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Azure & AWS
  • Angular and Angular Material is a plus
  • Experience with Domain Driven Development approach
  • Knowledge of cloud and microservices architectures
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $144,695.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
