What You Will DoInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of most classes of biomedical equipment and systems.Perform installation, calibration, scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, troubleshooting, repair and operation verification procedures on biomedical equipment.

Collaborate with clinical staff on the investigation and purchase of new imaging equipment.

Provide end user support on the use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.

Coordinate radiation physicist services.

Provide radiation safety consulting and management as required.

Maintain inventory of all biomedical equipment.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of equipment database(s) including inventory, performance assurance schedules, nomenclature and service history.

Work with and direct activities of contractors, vendors and outside service 3-Technicians to ensure the appropriate delivery of services.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:Certification specializing in Low Voltage preferred.

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
