North-South Delivery, a final mile logistics company, is seeking independent contractor teams for delivery and installation of appliances and home goods. Teams will pick up items from our Pensacola, FL central warehouse and deliver to consumer homes, retailers, and commercial job sites with appliance installation and haul away completed as needed.
$3000 weekly average for a five-day work week that runs Tuesday through Saturday with a 6AM start time. During peak times, Mondays may be needed which will increase the weekly average. $2500 bonus will be paid out to experienced delivery teams in two installments at 60 and 90 days.
$2500 bonus for new experienced contractor teams and $1500 for new contractor teams to be paid out at 60 and 90 days of active contracting.
Independent contractors have access to True Choices, a nationally recognized personal protection (healthcare) program for independent contractors and their families.
Requirements Include:
Currently have an established business or be able to register one.
- Minimum is an LLC and we cannot accept sole proprietorships.
Experience with a 24’ – 26’ box truck with lift gate or ramp
- Sub lease and rental programs are available if you do not own your own box truck.
Own your own tools for delivery and installation of appliances
- Tool purchase assistance program is available
Two-person team consisting of one driver and one helper.
- The driver must be at least 23 years of age or older with a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical card, and pass a background check.
- The helper must be able to pass a background check.
All teams must have the ability to lift and maneuver appliances in a home delivery setting, excellent customer service skills, and outstanding problem-solving skills.
